As we closed out 2012, I took a little time to record “Complete”, which was the last song I needed to film to wrap up the Within and Around solo-acoustic series (how appropriate!). In finishing these videos, I feel some degree of closure to the Within and Around project, which released back in November 2011. It showcased my most personal songwriting and nuanced delivery, and captured a moment in time of my life as a work in progress. I will continue to work these tunes into performances and they will always be near-and-dear, but I’m eager for the new sounds, collaborations, and projects to dig into in 2013.
